I knew as soon as I saw that Joanne Schwehm was releasing Gripped that I NEEDED this book! Dane intrigued me in Incumbent and I had to know his story!

Don’t fear! Although Gripped is part of The Prescott Series, it can easily be read as a standalone. But honestly, you will want to meet ALL of the Prescotts!

I love a good sports romance. Probably in large part due to the fact that I am as much a sports whore as I am a book whore! No seriously, as soon as I wake up in the morning on goes ESPN2… and some sports show or game is usually on my TV at all times. However the one sport that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me is GOLF!! LOL! I think watching paint dry is more interesting! Yet, Joanne may have just swayed my mind! OMG Dane. Dane! DANE!!! *Sigh* that hot sexy manwhore may have just converted a new fan to golf! Though I am afraid I would always be waiting for HIM to show up on the course 😉 !

Dane and Beverly… two people that should have very little in common. Dane lives, breathes, eats and sleeps – GOLF. Beverly loathes the game of golf – like has no patience whatsoever for it. Dane has a huge, loving, close knit family, Beverly is an only child with a reserved relationship with her parents. Dane is a manwhore. Beverly most certainly is not. But when you dig beneath the surface you find they are a perfect match. And there is no mistaking the chemistry that flies between the two of them. I so enjoyed watching their relationship grow. It felt right, it felt natural and you could actually see the evolution of their relationship. They get to know and support each other on many levels an it was beautiful to watch. And did I mention it is HOT? Just wait til you meet Jeeves…

I definitely recommend this book! Gripped was a sexy, emotional, heartwarming read that you don’t want to miss out on!
