    Title: Waiting for Forever
    Author: Jessica Prince
    Series: Hope Valley
    Genre: Contemporary Romance

After a bitter divorce had left him jaded and cynical, Leo Drake thought he was done. To him, love and happiness were myths. Then the shy, sweet, coffee shop owner looked up at him with those big gray eyes and beautiful smile, and he was done for.

Danika Parrish had been the nerdy girl growing up. The girl who sat in her window, watching the boy across the street, and secretly longing for the day when he might notice her. When that day finally came, she was convinced all her dreams had come true. But after giving her everything she’d ever hoped for, he’d ripped it all away with a handful of words.

Leo’s made a lot of mistakes in his life, but the one he regrets most is hurting Danika. For the first time in his life, he knows what it feels like to love someone, to truly be happy, and he’ll do whatever it takes to win her back. He’s determined to prove to her that he’s worth a second chance. That he’s the forever she’s been waiting all her life for.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

We were both sweaty and panting like we’d just run a marathon. Releasing my breast and hip, he reached for my hands and gently pried my fingers from the headboard. I would have collapsed onto the mattress in a sated heap had it not been for him holding on to me and guiding me down slowly.

Once there, he turned me to my back and hovered over me, his fingers coming up to brush the damp hair from my forehead.

    “You okay, sweetheart?”

I gazed up at him, sure my grin was totally goofy as I replied, “So okay.”

The harshness that had been carved into his expression when he first entered the room was now completely gone, in its place was a look so tender and so warm it made my heart expand.

“Thank you for that,” he said quietly, leaning in to run the tip of his nose along mine.

“Pretty sure I’m the one who should be thanking you. After all, you did most of the heavy lifting.”

He chuckled for a second before his expression grew serious. “I mean it, Danika. I needed that. I needed you. That’s the brand of sweet only you’re capable of giving me because it’s just how you are.”

It had to be said that I really liked hearing that in a seriously big way

    Felicity

The day I left that small town behind, I swore I’d never be back. I was better than Lexington and its small-minded residents. No one bothered to look beyond the mask I wore to protect my heart.

    Then or now.

Sometimes life doesn’t turn out the way we plan. Having kids was the best thing that I ever did. Returning to the one place I’m least welcome might be the most humiliating. The one thing about this town is a reputation follows you. So despite life humbling me, this town won’t forgive easily, and my past bad deeds still haunt me.

    Connor

Running from one war to another in the military, I spent years trying to find what was meant for me, to figure out where I belonged. It wasn’t in the city where I grew up or overseas. My soul needed settling and Lexington seemed like a good place to be alone.

    Then I met her.

She owned my attention from the moment I saw her, my heart right after. Through the grapevine, I learned Felicity had a past worth gossiping about. So do I. Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to her.

I moved here for a fresh start, a second chance to live a peaceful life, but she has me reevaluating that plan. Maybe it’s not peace I need but love that I’ve been missing all along.

“You’ve heard it before but you haven’t yet seen how Cassie and Harry do it…” The classic tale of sobbing one’s heart out to a bartender gets its own twist.

What happens when a sexy as hell bartender, tropical location, and a disheartened young woman all come together? Trouble, and that’s just the beginning.

Cassie finds herself revealing far too much to Harry, the hot local bartender, on the first night of her friend’s destination bachelorette party. Harry is no stranger to heartache, he’s had enough of his share to go around. Being an expert, of sorts, with broken hearts and women, it’s obvious that Cassie’s fiancé back home doesn’t deserve a woman like her.

It takes one to know one when it comes to a player, Harry figures. But that’s just it– Harry’s playing days might just be over, he knows every manipulative move Cassie’s fiancé , Evan, makes and more. With just a short week to get to know Cassie, can Harry prove that one–Evan is all wrong for her? Two– that Harry, himself is done with his own games, and finally– does a man such as himself even deserve Cassie?

Harry’s not sure, but one thing is certain–a man like Evan does not. Harry lays all on the line for what he can only explain away as love at first sight. A gut feeling and so much more. If only he can convince Cassie to take a chance on him, Harry just might have a shot at changing his reputation as the island’s most eligible bachelor and ending his own tales of heartache at his local tiki bar.

Can you find true love in a kiss? How about a dozen?

Lucy Duckworth is comfortable with her life and in her own skin, and her habit of picking up orphaned cats is charmingly noble. Yet when her roommate asks her to fill in at a kissing booth during the county fair, Lucy’s even-keeled existence suddenly tilts.

Matthew Kincaide is a cowboy with one simple motto: keep your head down, don’t talk a whole lot, and never trust a woman. Divorced and not about to give a woman control over him again, all he wants is to deliver his animals for the petting zoo and get out. Too bad his annoying brother coaxes him into buying tickets for a kissing booth.

Lucy’s first kiss with Matthew ends with a violent sneeze, but she can’t forget that lip-tingling, take-me-away moment. Though Matthew is shocked by his heart-thumping reaction, he lines up for a second chance. Surely lightning can’t strike twice. Summertime fun and a random accident block their path, but if they keep on, they’ll find out how many kisses it takes to fall in love.

The hot, humid air rang with the sounds of laughter and squeals of joy from children obviously immersed in the midway-type games. Far off bells rang whenever a game was won. Mechanical music drifted over from the carousel. The rhythmic hum of the generator that kept the oscillating fan on the floor of her booth running provided another layer of sound to the ambiance. If it weren’t for the actual kissing, the night would be pleasant. She might even consider tracking down a bag of kettle corn or roasted sugared almonds, or maybe attempt eating a funnel cake without dusting herself in powdered sugar. Why had she thought the idea of the county fair was stupid before? There were so many possibilities for eating…

A soft clearing of a male throat brought her attention back to the moment.

Oh, the kissing booth. That’s why.

When Lucy transferred her gaze from the teen who recently vacated the booth to the next man in line, she gave him a welcoming smile, the same as she’d done for countless others. He ambled forward, his face blank, his strong, stubble-covered jaw set and a brown cowboy hat cocked high on his forehead. Her breath caught. The man could have stepped out of a Western romance. Holy cow.

He looked familiar. Maybe she’d seen him around town. He kept walking. Her throat went dry. She couldn’t stop staring. Faded jeans fit like a second skin and hugged lean, muscled thighs in all the right places while a blue-checked button-down shirt screamed cozy weekends laying in the tall grass while watching the stars, maybe making love beneath that velvety midnight sky.

Where did that thought come from? She shook her head slightly and continued her perusal just to see if he was a full-fledged cowboy.

Lucy peeked down. Yup, he wore scuffed cowboy boots too. A real, honest-to-goodness country boy, here at her kissing booth. If all the guys standing in line looked like him… Before she was ready, he stood at her counter and plunked a ticket into the fishbowl.

“I’m Matthew Kincaide.” Uncertainty flickered in his lake-blue eyes.

And I’m about to make a fool of myself. His name sounded familiar, too. Something to do with animals? At the moment, she didn’t much care. All she wanted to do was stare at him and imagine what those toned and muscled arms might feel like around her. Instead, she said, “Okay.” None of the others had introduced themselves. That little bit of humanity made her pay attention. It was nice. Old-timey. She couldn’t help but admire the broad sweep of his shoulders and a chest that she assumed was defined enough to match the rest of him. Hard, like a rock. Did he have a heavy mat of hair or a sprinkling? Just stop it. He’s here for a kiss and that’s it. “Hi, I’m Lucy Duckworth.”

“Seen you around.” His intense gaze held hers. Embarrassment and a touch of resignation warred for dominance there.

She tamped the urge to laugh. He didn’t want to be here any more than she did. At least they had that in common. It made the evening not quite so bad. “I thought you were familiar too.”

“Yeah. So, how should we do this?” His deep, almost smoky, whiskey-smooth voice rippled between them. Awareness of him as a man pricked the hairs on her arms and the back of her neck. At the last second she stopped herself from shivering, but there was still an incredible desire to have him whisper something, to read the list of midway events—the back of a cereal box, anything—in that voice.

“Do what?” She couldn’t remember where she was, not with this fine specimen of a man standing in front of her, looking for all the world like he just stepped out of an action flick.

“Kiss.” His eyes narrowed a fraction, the delicate skin at the corners crinkling, while his sensuous lips thinned as if the idea detested him. “You know, the reason we’re here?”

“Oh.” Reality smacked into her. “Um, however you want.” She glanced behind him. The other guys in line moved about, shifting from foot to foot or murmuring to each other, clearly restless. “I don’t think there’s a protocol, but there are others waiting, so we should be timely.”

Matthew nodded but didn’t make a move to initiate a kiss. Instead, he half-turned. The corner of his mouth still visible to her lifted with a partial grin. The first guy in line made a circular gesture with a hand as if to say, “Get on with it.”

Matthew once more gave her his full attention. “No matter what my brother back there says,” he cocked a thumb over his shoulder. “I’m uncomfortable kissing a girl without getting to know her first. I guess I take after my dad that way.”

“Well, as noble as that sounds, it’s not a prerequisite for a kissing booth.” She appreciated his old-fashioned outlook, but he was holding up the line. “It’s a fundraiser. Manners, though appreciated, aren’t required.”

“That’s too bad.” He rubbed a hand along his jaw.

“Yeah.” Lucy swallowed. How lucky was that hand which touched that jaw…? She shook her head, yanking herself back to the present before her pseudo-Shakespearean moment showed. “Maybe this will help. I have a roommate, I like cats, and I want this fishbowl filled with tickets so the kids at the elementary school can get a new playground. Now you know more about me than you did two seconds ago.”

A ghost of a smile graced his mouth, and she couldn’t help but stare at those manly, sensuous lips. How would they feel like against hers in a real, honest to goodness kiss instead of one bought with a ticket? “Better.”

Thick moments went by as she yanked her attention back to his eyes and fell into those cool pools.

He scratched his forehead. “The guys in line say you’re real experienced in the kissing department. That true?”

Heat jumped into Lucy’s cheeks. Great. They all apparently thought she was Pam, and of course her roommate’s reputation had gone before her. “No, you must be thinking about my roommate, Pam. She’s the kissing queen. She got sick so I’m filling in for her.”

“Good grief, Matt. Just kiss her and move on!” The shout cut into her answer. “It’s not like you’re making a life decision.” The next guy in line rolled his eyes. “If you don’t want to, let me have your turn.”

Lucy grinned. “Must be your brother.” They were almost identical in appearance and posture, except the guy in line was a few inches taller and clean-shaven. “Look, tell you what: If you don’t want to do the whole lip thing, that’s fine. Give me a nice, chaste kiss on the cheek, and we’ll call it a day.” Poor guy. He seemed so discombobulated she’d give him an easy out.

“Nah, I can handle it.” Determination steeled those eyes. “It’s just a little kiss.”

Matthew put a hand on the counter, leaned into her personal space, and pressed his lips to hers. Soft but firm, and with none of the chapped skin or extra slobber that she’d been subjected to during her stint, they were warm against hers, cradling hers as if he knew exactly how to kiss a woman. Lucy relaxed. Her hand brushed his on the counter. An electric charge skated up her arm, and an answering thrill twisted up her back while her heartbeat danced and jumped as if she’d just run around the town—twice.

    Wowsa. What in the world?

She pulled away, but not enough to put noticeable distance between them, only enough to break the kiss. Matthew’s breath warmed her lips. His scent wafted around her, enveloped her in a stealthy cloud of leather, animals, and a hint of crisp soap. Lucy breathed deep and sighed. Now that was what a man should smell like… and then she ruined the moment for both their memories by sneezing violently, more like a full-body sneeze wherein her head snapped forward and smacked into his chin.

“I’m so sorry.” Pain throbbed through her brow.

“I’ve never had that reaction before.” Matthew fished a folded white handkerchief out from a pocket and handed it to her.

“Thanks.” She snagged the square and peered at him. “And thanks for the kiss.”

  • Beach Read by Emily Henry

    Title: Beach Read
    Author: Emily Henry

A romance writer who no longer believes in love and a literary writer stuck in a rut engage in a summer-long challenge that may just upend everything they believe about happily ever afters.

Augustus Everett is an acclaimed author of literary fiction. January Andrews writes bestselling romance. When she pens a happily ever after, he kills off his entire cast.

    They’re polar opposites.

In fact, the only thing they have in common is that for the next three months, they’re living in neighboring beach houses, broke, and bogged down with writer’s block.

Until, one hazy evening, one thing leads to another and they strike a deal designed to force them out of their creative ruts: Augustus will spend the summer writing something happy, and January will pen the next Great American Novel. She’ll take him on field trips worthy of any rom-com montage, and he’ll take her to interview surviving members of a backwoods death cult (obviously). Everyone will finish a book and no one will fall in love. Really.

Beach Read was an enjoyable summer read.

It is so hard to categorize this book. It is a second chance romance for two writers who knew each other once upon a time. It is an enemies to lovers story for two people who seem to disagree about everything. It is a sweet romance that is fraught with discontent and sadness.

I appreciated reading about January and Gus and loved how they challenged each other. They were both compelling characters who were more than they initially seemed.

  • Help Me, Harry by Mya O’Malley ~ Release Blitz

    Title: Help Me, Harry
Collection: Sun, Sand & A Ring On My Hand
    Author: Mya O’Malley
    Genre: Contemporary Romance; Beach Read

Today we have the release of HELP ME, HARY, part of the Sun, Sand & A Ring On My Hand collection from Blue Tulip Publishing, a collection of 3 standalone novellas. Get a head start on summer with these engaging contemporary romances!

    “I have to go.”

He shook his head. “Go where?”

    “Home.”

“Yeah, of course you do, but we still have a couple of nights together, right?”

She shook her head and took a sharp inhale. “Harry, the girls are staying, but I’m catching a flight back today.”

Adrenaline pumped through his veins. No, he needed more time. Not yet, Cassie, not yet.

“Why, Cassie?” He tamped down the emotion that threatened to spill from him. “I don’t understand. Did I do something wrong?” He heard the desperation in his voice and winced.

She swallowed hard and looked toward the ocean for a moment, then shook her head and looked right at him. “No, Harry. You did everything right. I’m the one who was wrong.”

“I don’t understand.” He repeated it, because he had no idea what else to say. She couldn’t leave, not when they had just started whatever this was between them.

“I’m engaged to be married, Harry, and I kissed you. I’m a horrible, awful person and I’m so, sorry. I had no right.”

“I kissed you too, Cassie. We kissed each other because it’s right, because we are meant to be together. I feel it in my bones. I have never felt this way about anyone before and I’m pretty sure you believe that as well, because otherwise it wouldn’t have happened. And if you and I were meant to find each other, it means that you and him were never meant to be. I believe in fate, and this — what we have right here? It’s the surest thing I have ever felt.”

He thought he had her, he could see her turning the words around in her mind, but then just as suddenly, she shook her head. “I owe him.”

Anger replaced the adrenaline. “You owe him?” He turned away and shook his head before facing her once more. “Is that what you just said?”

She nodded. “That’s right. We have a history together. I have to give it a chance.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me. What hogwash did he feed you? He’s laying the guilt trip down because he screwed up and doesn’t want to lose you. I know men like him, Cassie, I know because I used to be him. After Kammy dumped me, I figured I’d do the dumping, keep my heart guarded. But then I met you. Don’t do this. I may not have years with you at this time, but hell, I know what I feel and I know what you feel too. You’ll regret this.”

“I can’t do this right now, Harry, please.” He hadn’t meant to make her cry, but she had to see that she was about to make a huge mistake.

“Did he tell you he felt you pulling away, that he was scared he was losing you?” He knew verbatim what that bastard had probably said to guilt her into going back to him.

She said nothing in response and it was all he needed to know that he had hit the nail on the head.

“He’s playing on your weakness, Cassie, open your eyes.”

    Still nothing.

“When did you speak with him, Cassie? I need to know. Was it before or after our kiss last night?”

That got her. “It was after, I spoke with him this morning, Harry, all right?”

He wondered why she had even come to say goodbye. Guilt?

And there she went again, reading his mind. “I owed it to you to say goodbye, to tell you I’m glad we met.”

“And you owe it to that cheating bastard to marry him?”

She bit her lip and moved that damn piece of hair from her eyes. That piece that he had touched himself when he put his mouth on hers.

“Stop it, Harry, it’s hard enough as it is.”

It was the opening he needed.

“Listen to yourself. It wouldn’t be so hard if you didn’t feel the same thing I’m feeling. You felt what I felt last night. What I’ve been feeling from the moment we met. You can’t deny our connection.”

Ah–it was there for a flash, and then it was gone. But it had been there, he was sure of it. Her eyes had reached for him, confirming their connection, but then she had pulled back and snapped a lid on her feelings.

It was there. That’s all he needed. With that spark, grew hope, and right now, he’d take anything he could get.

The boys laugh, pouring only two shots. They both stand staring at me, Grey to my right and Liam to my left, as my head shifts slowly between them. It’s my turn to toast. Liam licks the side of his glass, cleaning some liquid that’s spilled, and my eyes dart to his tongue, watching it drag over the smooth surface, lapping up the Jack.

Before I can stop myself, the words are already out.

“To bad ideas and the boys who get me into trouble.”

The shot glasses hit the counter the minute they drink, and I tip my head back laughing. I rub my lips together and smile at them. “We need music.”

    “Done.”

Liam grabs the bottle of Jack and walks over to his phone that’s on the counter, picking it up and looking down with a serious expression. He stays that way for only a moment before his beautiful face pops back up smiling, as the music filters out through speakers in the ceiling.

I wander over toward the couch, Grey right behind me, as the music amps up, hitting a crescendo. Liam turns it up loud, and Grey grabs me, spinning me around. We start to jump and thrash our arms around, Liam joining in, losing ourselves to the music and yelling to the ceiling. It’s perfect. They’re perfect.

The oversized shirt I’m wearing bounces up, exposing glimpses of G-string, but I don’t care because it doesn’t matter. Nothing matters except this night.

Liam takes a swig from the Jack and passes it over to Grey as I shake my hips and turn in a circle. I lick my lips, my teeth sinking into the bottom one, as Liam comes up behind me, matching my rhythm and swaying back and forth. His hand splays over my stomach, and the warmth I was feeling from the liquor feels like ice in comparison to his large palm. He turns us to face Grey, who is standing stock-still, bottle in hand and a cigarette lifting to his lips. He takes in a long drag as he watches us dance. It’s the way he watches that makes my entire body feel on fire.

He’s arrogant. Entitled. Like a goddamn king. My very favorite version.

My eyes drift to his torso, taking in the tattoo again and smiling. It’s fitting for him— “I am not led, I lead.” He does lead, everyone but me. In fact, I’ll never tell that I already knew what it meant. Sometimes, it’s more fun to let him believe his saying.

He juts his chin, calling me to him, but I don’t move. Try again. Liam nudges my waist, speaking into my ear. “Go on, Van. He won’t bite. Unless you ask him to.”

Holy, hellfire and brimstone. I’m going to burn for this. Closing the three feet between us feels like the longest walk of my life, each step erasing the line before it. My throat is dry, but I’m already wet everywhere else. My thoughts are barreling around in my mind like they’re all in a freefall. But all I know is that I want whatever Grey has to offer.

Grey looks down at me as I come to a stop in front of him, peeking up through my lashes.

“You wanna hit?” He brings the cigarette back between his lips, sucking in the smoke, and I nod, but he doesn’t hand it to me, just blows up into the air. Grey’s eyes lock to mine as his head tips back down.

    “Ask me nicely.”

    “No.”

My hair is swept over my shoulder as the heat from Liam’s body engulfs me from behind. His lips graze my neck as he inhales up my jawline, making my head tilt and breath suck in between my teeth. Lines aren’t just being blurred. They don’t fucking exist anymore.

“Come on, Van. Ask us nicely,” Liam whispers, and my eyes shut.

When I open them, Grey flicks his cigarette into the fire. He licks his lips, letting his eyes drift down my body to where Liam’s finger is tracing the hem of the T-shirt at the top of my thigh. Liam’s finger runs back and forth indecently slow, barely ducking under the fabric, but I’m already panting, wet, and hungry. So fucking hungry. They’re really good at this.

“Were you actually talking about smoking?” I ask, already suspecting the answer.

    “Not even a little, Cherry.”

Wow. Don’t know what to say!

I saw this was a menage and a love triangle and I said, I NEED this book NOW! I adore both of these tropes! But I am not exactly sure I was prepared for this one!

Usually, when there is a love triangle, I have someone I am rooting for. Someone that I want to come out the winner in the end. But in this one, I couldn’t decide and found myself going back and forth and back and forth. My feelings were all over the place!

Filthy Little Pretties grabbed me right from the start and never let go. I loved the friendships, the fighting, the drama, the passion—I just loved it all. This book grabbed from page one and took me on a ride that I wasn’t expecting but one I wanted never to end.

This book made me want to pick up and read every last one of Trilina Pucci’s books! It was that great!

Trilina is an author, wife, and mama to three rowdy kiddos. When she isn’t making grilled cheese sandwiches, she can be found writing saucy novels that titillate and excite her readers.

Pucci’s journey started impulsively. She wanted to check off a box on her bucket list. But what began as fulfillment has become incredibly fulfilling. And now she can’t see her life without her characters, her readers and this community.

She currently resides in Northern California with her Italian stallion and her feral children, where the days are slow and easy and wine pours are heavy. (just kidding…maybe)

“I need you to sit at your desk and face the window. I need to show you something and I, umm, I want to see your initial response.”

“Okay, should I be worried?” He laughed with a questioning look on his face.

Liz rolled her eyes, “Yeah, I’m going to pop you over the head so you remain here all day and have no choice but to attend the wedding tonight. You won’t become conscious until the reception, the noise from the music, waking you up.”

    He raised his brows. “Really?”

Liz shook her head and just laughed as she walked toward the door. “Just stay seated, and look out the window.”

Liz eased the cake out of the drawer and opened it. Placing a few candles on it, she lit them just before opening the door, sneaking a peek first to make sure he followed her command. When she was close to the desk she said, “Don’t turn around yet.” She set the cake on the corner of the desk and then told him to turn around, knowing he probably could smell the cake already.

When Mark turned around his eyes went wide, looking at the cake, then to her, then to the cake again. His eyes locked on the cake and Liz could see him take a deep breath and swallow hard, his Adam apple moving ever so slowly. Since when did an Adam’s apple become sexy? No, no… not sexy!

Confused and uncomfortable, she pasted the biggest smile on her face she could. For some reason, her throat was thick and she became very emotional. “Happy birthday! I’d sing to you but I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to handle that, and I want you to have a good birthday.” She was rambling nervously. “Blow out the candles, one’s for your age, the other’s for a wish, so make a wish but don’t tell anyone, or it won’t come true.” She clamped her lips together so she wouldn’t say anything else.

Mark swallowed again, there went that Adam’s apple, then he looked at her deeply as he blew the candles out. “How did you happen to know it was my birthday?”

“Your mom… she called yesterday, making sure you didn’t forget that you’d be at the restaurant… For your birthday dinner. I thought you were meeting at her house. She even invited me to join everyone there, but I couldn’t call you if I was there and then there was the dinner…”

Mark smelled the cake. “I wished you would have come, it would have been a definite improvement on the night.” He inhaled deeply, “Apple spice? My favorite, how’d you know?”

“I knew you liked apple fritters; I just went with something appley. I didn’t get you anything, I just made the cake.” She shrugged her shoulders. “I hope you enjoy it with friends, at least.” Then without thinking she bent over and gave him a hug, and then a quick kiss on his cheek, but Mark turned his head and she brushed the corner of his mouth. “Happy birthday.” She cleared her throat that was now dry and hoarse.

Mark just stared at her. As she turned to go, he finally spoke up. “You’ll join me for a piece of cake before you leave, right?”

I was born in Euclid, Ohio. Living in Wickliffe until I was seven. It was then that we moved to a small town in Kentucky. I married young and still live in that small town with my husband of 35 years. We have three children, a daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren. My parents live close by, as well as our children. I love watching my birds on the deck and having herb gardens and fruit trees. Join me on Pinterest too.

I’ve always enjoyed writing. It wasn’t until the death of my middle sister, that I found that I could escape my daily life in writing; it was a great way to deal with the mourning process. The only sharing I did during this time was for extra credit in school and for my friends and family.

My desire to write took a side-burner when I had children of my own. But with time passing, the stories became more like little movies and I knew I needed to write again.

I am now a retired paramedic and loved that job (will probably work part time at some point)! Since retirement I spend a lot of time caring for my aging parents. Most of my off time is filled with family and getting the time to just stay at home and write!
