    Synopsis

I’ve got 99 problems but money ain’t one. Though a sister with cotton candy for brains, a spatula-wielding six-year-old niece with a British accent, and the mysterious businessman who left me that damn ticket are all currently vying for the top spot.

When I became the sole winner of a $270 million Megaball jackpot, thanks to a sexy stranger who left a lottery ticket instead of paying for his meal, my entire world flipped upside-down.

Now, with money-sucking vultures, douchebags by the dozens, and a horde of total hotties just waiting to get their mangy paws on my newfound fortune, I set out to locate the man who gifted me the winning ticket–to properly thank him.

However, when I finally find the cocky, self-absorbed business tycoon, Teague Goodman, I’m not sure whether I want to slap him… or ring his MEGABALLS.

    excerpt

“Open up, big boy,” I prompt, a wicked smile tipping up the corners of my mouth as I straddle Mr. Sexy Eyes’ chest, wearing only a lacy bra and matching thong in the same shade of red as the strawberry I’m dangling in front of his face.

Slowly lowering the fruit between his parted lips, I hold firmly on the stem while he sinks his teeth into the ripe berry and moans around my fingertip. A sharp surge of desire shoots through my body as pink juices seep out and trickle down the sides of his face, pooling in the craters in his cheeks. The mere thought of it being my own sticky nectar smeared across his perfect mouth causes my upper thighs to clench and my hips to rock forward slightly as I hiss in a sharp breath through my teeth.

“Delicious,” he rumbles, as his eyes drop to where our bodies touch, my panty-clad pussy pressed into his washboard abs, desperate for friction to soothe the sudden ache in my core. “But I was hoping for something a little… sweeter.”

    AboutTheAuthor

    CD Bradley PIC

I’m just a girl who likes to daydream. Sometimes I write them down to share. Even as a little girl teachers would tell my parents I live in a world of my own. The literary world was my safe haven. Then we grow up. I practiced medicine in the ER and urgent care for the last 15 years. I started writing again while still working in the ER but put it aside when we opened our own clinic. Until last year my husband and I owned our own practice, we had two children and lived a somewhat normal life. Then in the span of a year we sold our practice, bought a 96 acre farm in the hills of West Virginia and adopted 3 of our patients ( ages 2,3,4) bringing our kid count up to five. It has been a crazy year full of ups and downs and learning to laugh at ourselves. Being mostly brought up in the city, managing a working farm with real farm creatures and ever lurking bears has been an adventure. Not to mention adjusting to being a mom of FIVE. But when things are rough I just laugh and tell stories. Because at the end of the day sometime laughter and love is all you have. Somewhere in the midst of kids and chickens, I managed to finish my first novel and dive deeply into the second. Writing at night or early in the morning while all the littles are asleep lets me escape into another world. I hope that you will enjoy the journey of the story as much as I have writing it. Pursue your dreams as if limits to your abilities do not exist.

    Title: Coming Full Circle
    Series: Pembrooke Series (Book 2)
    Author: Jessica Prince
    Genre: Contemporary Romance

    synopsis

She knew what it was like to feel unwanted.

At an early age Eliza Anderson learned a very hard lesson. Sometimes the people who are supposed to love you the most are the ones that cause you the most pain. She learned to guard herself, hesitating to let anyone close for fear of feeling that rejection all over again. Then Ethan came into her life, and what had started as a simple childhood crush morphed into a friendship she eventually came to cherish above all else. He was her safe place. Her rock. A shoulder she could lean on. Until he ripped it all away.

He knew what it was like to feel like an outsider.

Ethan Prewitt grew up learning that you couldn’t always trust the people you loved the most to be there. That sense of security he craved had always alluded him, leaving him to feel like an interloper in his own home. He dreamed of escaping the small town of Pembrooke and building a life where he didn’t have to depend on anyone but himself. What he never expected was for his friendship with Eliza to grow into something that meant everything to him.

Mistakes were made. Hearts were broken. But now Ethan’s home and he’s determined to make it right. It was time for their relationship to come full circle.

Because what they had was once in a lifetime.

    coming-full-circle-teaser

    excerpt

My cellphone rang just as I popped a couple ibuprofen and downed then with the cold beer in my hand. Duke had left an hour ago, but because he was a sadist, my knee was throbbing like hell, which did nothing to help improve my earlier mood.

I reached into the pocket of my sweats and pulled the phone out, not bothering to look at the display as I answered with a curt, “What?”

“Holy shit!” a familiar voice cried from the other end. “He actually answered the phone! Noah! Quick! Look out the window and tell me if the world’s on fire. This has to be the sign of the apocalypse.”

“You’re fucking hysterical, Low-Low,” I deadpanned. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

“What? Can’t a sister call her baby brother and give him shit for being an asshole who never comes to see her or her family and barely has the time to talk on the phone anymore?”

My head dropped down as I rested a hand on the dark granite of the kitchen island and leaned forward. With a sigh, I told her, “I’m really not in the mood for this right now, Harlow.”

“I don’t give two shits what you’re in the mood for Ethan. Last I heard from you, you were about to have surgery to repair the tear to your ACL. That was eight days ago! I had to hear from your agent that you were doing well and at home recuperating. You haven’t answered a single call, you won’t return any of my messages, and Noah said you’ve been ignoring him too. What the hell, man?”

    “Harlow—”

Doing what she always did and ignoring the warning in my tone, she pushed forward. “Lucy’s been worried about you, and Evan’s been beside himself since he saw you take that hit. Do you have any idea how hard it is to try and console a six-year-old when he thinks his favorite uncle just got his guts stomped on the field?”

“I’m his only uncle,” I replied, but she wasn’t finished.

“I’ll tell you. It’s really freaking hard, Ethan. You’re his idol for Christ’s sake. Lucy and Evan adore you. But you can’t even bother with more than one or two goddamned phone calls to let us know you’re okay and still alive?!”

By the end of her rant Harlow’s voice got so high pitched, I started to worry for the dogs in their neighborhood. But she made her point.

“I’m sorry,” I muttered through the line.

“Sorry, what was that? Couldn’t hear you since you were mumbling. Try repeating it, and this time try and talk like a grownup.”

Just like Harlow to give me shit, even when I was trying to apologize. She had never been one to just accept an apology. Oh no, she made you bust your ass to earn her forgiveness. No one knew that better than me and her husband Noah. She’d practically made the man jump through flaming hoops to win her back after breaking her heart when they were teenagers.

“I said, ‘I’m sorry,’” I repeated, making sure to enunciate. “You’re right. I’ve been a prick.”

She was quiet for a few seconds before stating, “Yes. You have.”

“I’m really sorry, Low-Low,” I said softly, using the nickname I’d given her when I was little, hoping it would help to butter her up. “I’ll make it up to you guys. I promise.”

“Good. Because I’ve already told the kids Uncle Ethan’s coming for an extended visit starting next week.”

    “You what?!”

“And don’t worry. I’ve already cleared it with your agent and, lucky you, Fletch is a licensed physical therapist! What a coincidence, huh?”

It was bullshit was what it was. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Harlow had this whole thing planned out, including having Noah’s assistant coach Fletcher getting certified as a PT. “You’re kidding, right? I can’t just pick up and leave. I’ve got shit to do here, Harlow.”

“Like what? You’re out for the rest of the season and on limited activity until your knee’s healed up, so don’t give me that. It’s been way too long since you’ve been back home—”

“That’s not my home anymore, that’s your home. Denver’s my home.”

“Call it whatever you want, but pack your shit. Duke said you can’t fly just yet, so Noah and I are driving up to get you next Saturday. We’ll crash at your place for the night and head back early Sunday morning.”

“You talked to Duke too?” I asked incredulously.

“What can I say? Everyone around you, except you, thinks your family is freaking awesome. Now pack. I’m done playing this game with you. It’s time I had my little brother back.”

She hung up before I could say anything.

“Shit,” I breathed as I dropped my phone on the counter, suddenly feeling more exhausted than I had before the phone call.

There was no way I was going to be able to talk myself out of this one. I was going back to Pembrooke.

Whether I liked it or not.

    JessicaPrince

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

    STROKED LONG by Meghan Quinn
Scheduled to release: September 20, 2016

    Sports Romance
Cover Designed by: Indie Solutions by Murphy Rae

    BLURB:
From his dirty-blond hair and breathtaking smile, to the abs from heaven and the irresistible V in his waistline, everything about Bodi Olympic-gold-medalist Banks screams hot piece of @$$.
    Yet there’s more.
Dark shadows lurk behind his soulful, serious eyes.
    I’m enamored. He’s captured me.
How can running an art foundation with Bodi Banks turns into a slow-burning, epic romance, even though he tries to push me away at every chance? How can I stay away from a broken, routine-driven man whose soul cries to be forgiven for a crime only he believes he committed? Or is that a lie?

**STROKED LONG can be read as a stand alone.

    EXCERPT

“This is so good, Bodi. At first I was nervous about all the veggies but this crust is amazing, really crisp with a cheesy flavor. Where did you get it?”

And here is my little secret that will blow her mind.

“It’s actually ground-up cheese and cauliflower.”

“Cauliflower?” she asks in disbelief. “There is no way that is cauliflower.” She takes no time in turning the slice in her hand over to take a look at the crust. “How could this be cauliflower?”

“Veggies can do weird things.” I take another bite, loving my cauliflower pizza.

“Typical Bodi Banks. Skips the carbs for some kind of magical cauliflower crust. Where do you get your discipline?”

I shrug. “I guess I’ve just become accustomed to it.” More like obsessed but she doesn’t need to know that. My obsessive-compulsive personality has fixated on certain things: eating healthy, training, keeping the house impeccably clean, and locking the fucking doors . . . three times.

Taking another bite, she talks with her mouth full. For some reason, I find it adorable. “I wish I could become accustomed to eating veggies like you, but my body seems to enjoy a doughnut over a carrot.”

“Ah yes, I remember your love for doughnuts.”

“How do you . . .?” Her voice trails off as recognition falls over her face. “Ugh, that damn Lauren tempting me with a doughnut. I could still punch her tuna box. How humiliating. I’m sorry you had to see me sweat over a pastry like that.”

    “It was impressive.” I chuckle.

Her mouth flies open in shock, the corners of her lips tipping up in mirth. “Are you making fun of me?”

“No, I’ve just never seen someone work that hard for a doughnut. Quite the accomplishment.”

“Oh my God.” She laughs and shoves my arm. “You’re making fun of me.”

“And showing up to a swim class in a two-piece?” I tsk her with a shake of my head.

“Hey.” She holds up her finger. “I showed you how it could be a one-piece.”

“Yes, who can forget the moose knuckle?” The horrified but fun-loving look on her face makes me laugh out loud, not just chuckle or *gulp* chortle. No, I laugh.

“I don’t know if I like this Joking-Bodi. He seems to remember too many incriminating things only to use them against me later.”

“Regular-Bodi would remember the same thing. At least Joking-Bodi is more fun to be around.”

Shit, why did I just say that?

“I like both Bodis,” Ruby says without skipping a beat and finishing off her pizza, putting me at ease once again.

    NA Romantic Comedy

    BLURB:
Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.

His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.

On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.

I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.

There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.

What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.

    About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Excerpt:

“I’ll be done in a minute.” He looked down at me and smiled softly. “I’m glad you’re here.”

    “Yeah? Why’s that?”

“You’re just so easy to be around.” He shrugged as if that summed up the whole world but I had no idea what it meant.

“And… . . . that’s a good thing?.” I frowned up at him. He gave me butterflies and I stumbled over everything I said but he thought I was easy to be around.

He stepped closer and I found myself nose to chest. His fingers tilted my chin up and his lips fluttered over mine. I let my palm rest on his skin where I could feel his heart beating rapidly. He didn’t touch me except for the fingers on my chin and his lips on mine.

When he stepped back, his brown eyes were dark. “It’s a good thing.”

Before I could think to ask anything else, he was gone, taking the stairs two at a time. My fingers drifted up to my lips and I stared at where he had just been, the remote in my other hand forgotten.

I’d never been kissed like that before; with so much tenderness and awe.

    Review

    Jill’s Review

Politics often makes for strange bedmates doesn’t it? But Nichole Chase’s Bedmates hits just the right notes… nothing strange about it. It is sexy, heartwarming, sweet and will make you feel. Bring on theses American Royals!

In this book we have the daughter of the president and the son of the vice president.. should be perfect right? But the daughter, Maddie, is a bit of a wild, rebel. Oh, no – not like you’re thinking! Not sex, drugs and partying! More like let’s march to the beat of our own drum and not care about the media backlash! She wants to save the world (or at least all of the animals) and she may not think about the consequences first. And Jake has always been that perfect golden boy… though we has just returned from Afghanistan – injured. Growing up they always rubbed each other the wrong way. And now their parents are throwing them together on a project 😉

I gobbled this book up. I was absolutely taken with every single character in this book. YES. EVERY. ONE. From our main ones, Maddie and Jake, to the little dog Puz, to their siblings to their Secret Service Agents. Every one had a personality that really added something to the story. I loved watching the interactions and how real they seemed. It made it a very quick read for me.

Watching Maddie and Jake forge a true relationship with each other just warmed my heart. I was rooting for them so hard. So that when they faced the bumps in their road my heart was truly in my throat. I had tears in my eyes as I was hoping that they could fight their way through it. What they faced are things that many couples in their situation have to face. And I only hope and pray that everyone can fid a happily ever after as well. And that others have the wonderful friend surrounding them that they found around them. I loved that Nichole Chase chose to showcase that the two projects that they were focusing on were to help Veterans and to help animals. They were s seamlessly tied into the story and the passions of the character that hopefully these causes will seep into readers awarenesses as well!

I definitely recommend this book. It warmed my heart. I can’t wit for the next standalone book in this series!

I received a complimentary copy of Bedmates in exchange for my honest review.

    Excerpt

“The dress will need to come off,” I tell her with a playful smile—I want her to feel at ease.

She turns to the side and unzips herself, reaches for the skirt of her dress, and pulls it over her head. She’s wearing a sexy pink lace bra and matching thong. I wonder if she slipped those on thinking of me. Or David? I wonder how long it would take me to rip it all off. She peeks at me through her lashes, still shy but aroused. Her gaze finally reaches mine, and it’s pleading, begging me to come to her.

I kneel in front of her. I desperately want to kiss her—she’s just so beautiful. But I know that if I kiss her, I’ll get lost in her and I’ll want to make love to her. She and I together is a very bad plan. Too much history there, and even after all we’ve been through, I can only see her as Paul’s girl. But right now, she’s just a woman who desperately needs to touched, and I’m the man who desperately wants to touch her. I trace the lacy edges of her bra with my finger. She’s breathing so hard her chest is heaving. I pull the fabric with a finger and tuck it under, revealing her breast. Wow. Her nipple is pink, hard, and begging to be licked, but if I go there, I won’t be able to stop myself. I know myself too well.

She closes her eyes again, and I take her in—her soft stomach, her sexy legs. I eagerly make my way down. I stroke her thighs gently again, and she opens her legs for me. She’s arousing me so much it’s painful. I trail my hand between her thighs where she’s wet—the soft fabric, what little there is of it, is soaked.

She throws her head back, her mouth open—she’s gasping for air. Finding her wet like this and wanting to be inside her so badly, is so fucking hard on me. I try to remind myself that this isn’t about me; it’s about her. As bad as I want to do all the things to her I shouldn’t be doing, I know I can’t. I’m on a mission.

I reach for the string of her thong and tug down. I’d planned to be soft with her, but I find myself being hard. She props her rear up and her hands press against the mattress, tangled in the sheets. As I struggle with the fabric, she reaches for it and pulls the thong down with me. It’s clear that she wants it off. In that moment, I forget all about myself. All I want to do is please her and make her come.

I’ve never seen her like this. I steal a moment to savour the sight of her small patch of neatly trimmed hair and tempting pink lips. I’m so hard as I slip my finger along her wetness, slowly teasing her. I explore further, up along her sex to her sweet spot.

“Your body is yours, Amber.” I know her. I know a big chunk of guilt is probably lingering at the back of her mind, and I just want her to let go of that and enjoy the moment. “No one has a hold on it but you. It’s yours. All I want to do is to make you feel good like this. It doesn’t have to be anything more. Do you want this? If you don’t, tell me to stop, and I will.”

She lets out a cry and squirms as I pull my hand away for a second. She doesn’t need to say a single word. It’s crystal clear—she desperately wants me to make her come.

Filthy images play in my mind as I imagine all the things I would love to do to her. I’d love her legs wrapped around my head. I’d drive her wild, taking her to the edge and swiftly pulling back only to wrench her hard against me again. I’d sink into her and get completely lost in her. But I can’t do all those things, as much as I would love to. I can’t take this too far.

I’ve been cruel long enough. I’ve teased her plenty. It’s just so amazing to finally touch her. I reach for her sweet spot and feel her hard clit on the tips of my fingers. She wails and spreads her legs wider. I’ll take her over the edge in a few seconds, but I selfishly want this moment to last forever. Watching her like this—panting, a perfect breast hanging out of her delicate bra, legs spread wide for me—it’s the most gorgeous sight. I pull away from her, greedy as fuck. I want to hear her cry, to hear her beg. She winces as I pull my hand away. She opens her beautiful eyes, silently asking me why I’m being such a tease.

“Close your eyes,” I order, and she does. I don’t want her to see what I’m about to do. I close my eyes as I bring my finger to my nose and inhale her scent. It’s just as I always imagined. Then I draw my wet fingers to my mouth and taste her—so, so sweet.

    “Please,” she begs. “Don’t stop.”

It’s just what I need to hear. With just another sweep or two of my fingers along her slick sex, she arches her back off the bed, opens her beautiful eyes to look at me again, and I finally make her come.

Seeing Amber, who is always so contained, so put-together, so perfect, get lost under my touch is unbelievable. The sight of her tiny hands grasping my mattress, her beautiful mouth wide open, the sweet sound of her cries bouncing off my walls—it’s almost too much. I’ve dreamed about this scenario dozens of times, and the real thing is even better than it ever was in my imagination.

    Review

    Jill’s Review

Loving Amber by Roya Carmen is beautiful story of healing and forgiveness. It is both a friends to lovers story and a sort of second chance love story.

Roya Carmen gives us a story that is gorgeously written. A novel that is truly character driven. You feel their emotions. What they are thinking, feeling, what is driving them. And it all stems back to the tragedy two years ago that stripped Amber of her husband and twin and Aiden of his best friends. They all had bonded as children, when Amber joined the boys club and became a misfit with them. But even way back then Aiden and Amber were drawn to each other. Even though she and Paul were childhood sweethearts and later married. Even though Paul Aiden were best friends and business partners. And when tragedy struck and Paul was the only one to walk away from it… it severed their friendship. That is until her older brother helps to maneuver him right back where he belongs – into her life and that of her son.

The sheer heartbreak that pours out of these pages. The emotions. The laughter and joy. And ultimately the healing. It was real life. With all the nasty bumps and bruises that come along with it. The pain of actually living life and feeling it. The hardship of trying to move on and force yourself to put one foot in front of another because you have others depending on you each and every day. The awkwardness of taking that step to move forward in life and trying to force feelings that just aren’t there.. but don’t you just want them to be. You crave that contact again. So many of us can say we have been there before. Maybe not in that exact situation but in so many similar situations where we are starting over. So you can relate to those emotions and it it makes it hit home so much harder.

I definitely recommend this book. I loved the realness and rawness that Roya Carmen brought to the story. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store!

We stand in a ridiculous line (my opinion) to grab a coffee at the original Starbucks, and Macy pulls out her phone.

“Now we’ll take our coffees and go drink them somewhere cool.” She pulls me along back the way we came, hops on the Link again, headed back toward the hotel.

“Where is this cool place?” I fight the urge to take the reins. She’s lost. We’re headed nowhere.

“Just wait. It’s gonna be cool. I asked the concierge about it before you got up, too, so it’s not just me and Google that thinks so.”

We walk a short block in the opposite direction of the hotel, past the gleaming steel and glass public library, which Macy takes several pictures of as we walk.

We cross the street, and she walks up to the front doors of a grey stone modern office building.

“What?” I feel a little unsettled. I’m the one who does the surprising.

“Trust me.” She takes my hand and pulls me in through the revolving doors.

We get on the elevator, and she presses the button for the seventh floor.

“Okay.” I stand next to her, but I’m concentrating mostly on the way it feels to have her hand on mine. I think about her lips on mine, her hips against mine…

And then she coughs. It’s two, quick coughs, but there’s that rattle again.

And my mind’s back on the business of keeping her well, keeping her safe.

We get off the elevator. She looks like a kid with a great secret. “Just wait. This is so cool.”

“You haven’t been here, how do you know?”

“Don’t be a crank. Nobody likes the stick in the mud.”

    “Fine.”

She pulls me through another set of chrome and glass doors.

And yeah, she’s right. It’s pretty cool.

So apparently Macy from Teton County, Idaho, has discovered the rooftop park hidden in the middle of downtown Seattle. And it’s gorgeous. She hands me my coffee and walks over to the railing. The sun is out, and the water and the waterfront is laid out in front of us.

“There’s the Space Needle! We’re going there later today. After dinner.”

I laugh. “Are you at least going to let me pick a spot for dinner?”

“Do you want to?” She doesn’t look like she wants me to.

“There’s a great place I know, and it’s a short walk from the hotel.”

“Fine.” She takes a sip from her coffee and looks out over the view.

I kiss her on the cheek again. “Don’t sulk.”

She turns and kisses me full-on, on the lips, for the briefest possible moment, before pulling away and facing out to the view again. “I’m not.” I taste mint and feel sparks down to the base of my spine.

Then she smiles the slyest, crookedest grin I’ve seen. I haven’t seen her smile like that.

    And I grin back.

Jeremy King, Hollywood über-agent to the stars, knows that sharks gotta swim. He’s one of them, after all. He’s never met a deal he couldn’t strike or an argument he couldn’t win. LA is his kind of town—they both never stop moving.

So when his friend and client, movie star Andrew Pettigrew, invites him on a “man-cation” to the wilds of Idaho for a little fly-fishing, Jeremy’s not so sure. He might not have cell service. There’s no way there’ll be any supermodels to woo. And his idea of the great outdoors is a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway in his Tesla Model S—moose definitely do not factor into the picture.

Fitting then that because of a moose, he meets Macy Shea Summerlin, the best fly-fishing guide on the South Fork. Jeremy’s surprised and tantalized, but Macy isn’t having any of his alpha male posturing. She gives as good as she gets, and she knows how to throw a mean right hook.

As the two of them get tangled up in each other’s lives, both Jeremy and Macy must come to terms with winning and losing and letting love in. And Jeremy has to find the answer to his own question: Is he simply “using” Macy or could he really “use” someone like her? Find out in Use Somebody, book 3 of the Fix You series.

    EXCERPT

“So…I guess I’ll see you when I see you?” I reach up to graze his handsome hard jawline, admiring the feel of his soft, freshly shaven skin.

“Something like that.” Henry turns his face to kiss my fingertips, and then he leans in to capture my lips with his, his tongue finding its way in to brush against mine in a slow, erotic dance that’s not outright scandalous but is probably inappropriate right in front of the hospital. “I love this mouth of yours,” he murmurs, taking the back of my head in his hand to deepen the kiss.

    And I love you.

I’ve felt those words sitting on the tip of my tongue, threatening to tumble out, since he stepped onto the plane yesterday morning. I’ve somehow managed to hold on to them though. It’s too soon for me to tell him. We’ve only just reconciled.

Henry breaks away with a groan. “Okay, you really need to go or I’ll be unzipping my pants right here.”

My blood rushes with the thought, my fingers digging into his forearm. I didn’t get nearly enough of him this morning. “Maybe I want you to,” I tease, catching his earlobe between my teeth.

“I don’t think fuckface and his parents would enjoy the show so much though.”

“What?” I spin around to find Jed, Reverend Enderbey, and Celeste Enderbey standing on the sidewalk.

    Staring.

The Reverend and Celeste have the decency to look away when we make eye contact, but Jed continues starting at me, a mixture of shock and hurt filling his face.

They saw me come in with Henry yesterday. Sure, I told them he was my boss when they asked. If they were wondering what was going on… I guess they have their answer. “I guess I’m going.”

    I reach for the door.

Henry’s hand seizes my thigh, holding me in place. “Just so we’re crystal clear…”

I turn to find a hard gaze on me. “When I say ‘let’s see where things go’ that means make sure he keeps his fucking hands off you. And that goes for every other asshole out there, too.”

Maybe it’s odd that my heart swells with his words, but I smile anyway. It’s his way of telling me he cares. “I only want you, Henry. Always.”

He opens his mouth, and I hold my breath, wanting him to tell me that he only wants me, too. That he misses me already.

    That he loves me.

    “I’ll call you later.”

    My cue to leave.

    Review

    Jill’s Review

I just cannot get enough of Nina West’s Wolf Cove series. I was so excited when I saw that Wolf Prey was releasing and that we were going to be getting more of the delicious Henry and the wonderfully innocent Abbi.

In this installment we have Henry and Abbi pulled apart just as they have reconciled. Abby rushed home to take care of the family farm as her father recover from a serious and nasty farm accident. But here is another chance for your sweet and mostly innocent Abbi to learn to grow her own wings. Pulled on every side by this small town that thinks it knows what is best for her. To be with the reverend’s son (you know that boy she dated who cheated on her and sent her running to Alaska in the first place…) The one her mother believes.. no insists she is meant to be with. That same mother who thinks she still has a right to control her daughter’s life. This is a chance for Abbi to grow a backbone back home surrounded by everyone she knows and fight for the man she loves. The man who still might not be able to say the words.. but has been showing them in the only way he knows how.

This book is filled with emotion. Yes.. definitely the sexual kind. Tension galore. And scenes that are so hot and scorching you will need fans going to cool you down. The situations that Abbi would find herself in…. OMG! But seriously freaking HOT! Where does Nina come up with this??? And I loved watching how Abbi and Henry’s relationship is evolving. Are there doubts and insecurities there? Umm… yeah there are a ton! But I think if we are honest with ourselves there are in any REAL relationship. When you start to really care for someone you get scared. You start getting nervous and ask all those what ifs. Especially if you fear or perceive that your partner is more worldly than you are, more experienced. It is hard not toot yourself. It is what you do and how you move forward in the relationship that counts. How you grow from the mistakes. And I feel that they do. They begin to truly trust each other. Trust in themselves. Trust in their relationship. And it is beautiful to watch it bloom.

I am truly hoping to get more Wolf Cove because how we are left…. *sigh* I won’t say it was a heartbreaking cliffhanger, because Abbi and Henry are in an OK place. But there is a situation that will impact their lives😦

I highly recommend this book and series! It is a fabulous foray into Romantic Erotica. I promise you, you will thank me!

    Genre: Contemporary Romance
    Release Date: October 3

***This is Book 2 in the Pembrooke series, a spin-off of Wildflower. They are interconnected standalones.***

    Sexy guy

    excerpt

I fell in love with Ethan Prewitt when I was nine years old.

It wasn’t real love or anything. I was only nine — almost ten — after all, but back then it was the most intense, consuming emotion I’d ever experienced in my young life. From nine to twelve I was a blushing, giggling, stuttering mess whenever he was around, and seeing as my Dad and his wife Chloe were best friends with Ethan’s sister and brother-in-law, he was around a lot.

Ethan was gorgeous and popular and way too old for me — which only added to the thrill of it. But as time passed and we really got to know each other, that young, childish love evolved. I started to grow up, mature, and that immature infatuation turned into a friendship the likes of which I cherished above all else.

My relationship with Ethan was the most important thing in my life. It was him I went to when I needed advice, his opinion I held in the highest regard, his shoulder I leaned on whenever I needed someone to share my burdens with. As the years passed, that respect only grew.

He turned into the best friend I could have ever had. We told each other everything, confiding things we wouldn’t dare tell anyone else. We shared our ambitions and dreams. We knew each other better than anyone else. I needed him. I grew to depend on him.

And looking back, I realized that was my biggest mistake.

Because needing someone didn’t necessarily mean they needed you back. It was a lesson I’d learned even before Ethan came into my life. You could give a person all the love you were capable of carrying, but that didn’t mean you’d get the same in return.

My mother hadn’t taught me much in my life, but that particular lesson was the one that stuck the most, sad as it was.

There were people in your life who were supposed to care, supposed to do their best to protect you from all the bad. My father was one of those people, his wife Chloe another. It hurt to know my own mother, my flesh and blood, wasn’t one of those people, and for that very reason, I kept my circle small. Only those who I’d go to the ends of the earth for and who I trusted to do the same for me were allowed in. I appreciated quality over quantity, and while keeping people out sometimes led to being lonely, I’d convinced myself that it was enough. I had everyone I’d ever need. I had Dad and Chloe, Noah and Harlow, my other friend Lilly.

And I had Ethan. Or so I thought.

I only had him for six years before I lost him.

Now I’ve spent the next six regretting the fact that I ever let Ethan Prewitt in.
