Cover Artist: Cover Me Darling
As soon as I started Filthy Bastard by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield I was drawn into the world they created. It was often raw and ugly but also had a beauty to it. It was these conflicting points to the story that helped to hold my attention and made me not put it down until I read it cover to cover.
Adyson Sloan is close with her sister, the rest of her family… well they are horrid! But her sister, she would do anything for – and she is. That is until she gets kidnapped by the Grim Bastards MC and her world is flipped. What should have been a scary experience morphs into her first taste of freedom and a chance at love.
For Brew Decker the Grim Bastards are his life, his only family. Anything they ask of him he does. Until he kidnaps Adyson and starts to see a different future for himself.
Filthy Bastard was full of twists and turns, drama, violence, friendship, loyalty and love. It was dirty, ugly and raw. There were also moments of pure beauty. My heart broke in half for Addy and her sister and what they had to endure. But soared again with how supportive the club was and how they embraced the women. The chemistry between Brew and Addy is off the charts. But what rivals it is how sweet and protective the big. bad Brew is with her.
Filthy Bastard will have you swiping the pages as you need to find out what is going on, what will happen, how it will all turn out. This is a series I can not wait to see more of!
I received a complimentary copy of Filthy bastard in exchange for my honest review.
