One Last Sin Excerpt

 Bleu’s POV

Sin and I file on to the bus with the other tourists and choose seats at the back. It’s where we belong. That’s where the bad kids sit.

The bus is warm but the window is still cold. The glass is fogged so I write in the condensation: Bleu loves Sin.

I draw a fat heart around our names.

“That’s a work of art,” Sin says.

I take out my camera and snap several close-ups, making the words the focal point. “That one is definitely going in a frame.”

Sin smiles and leans over to kiss me. “Sin loves Bleu too.”

I peek over the tops of the seats to see if anyone is paying us any attention. Nope. They’re all too busy looking at their brochures.

“You don’t even come close to looking like you belong on this bus surrounded by normal folk.”

Sin laughs. “I’m not so sure you do, either, but what makes me look so different from what you refer to as normal folk?”

“First of all, you’re in a ridiculously expensive tailored suit. That’s a weird thing to wear for a day of sightseeing. Secondly, you have a gun on you. You’d better hope we don’t go through a metal detector at any of our stops.”

I’m wearing leggings and boots with a long tunic, not a suit that probably cost what most of these people earn in two weeks. “You say I don’t look like I fit in, either, but I think I look pretty normal.”

“Your face is flushed and glowing. You look freshly fucked.”

REVIEW
Jill’s Review
The day One Last Lin showed up on my kindle was bittersweet! I was so eager to dig in and read the conclusion of this book – I mean really I was waiting, counting the days until I had it in my hands so that I could finally KNOW what was going on!! BUT now that I had it, it means that this was The. End. AGHHHH #readerproblems!

One Last Sin once again picked up right where The Next Sin left off. Bleu is in trouble and captured by the Order. And while her capture is nasty and she is waiting for Sin to come she looks out for and protects a fellow captive there with her. As Bleu is taken Sin is also detained. But their love and devotion to each other shine through and they come out of this to lead the Fellowship and eventually figure out who killed her mother. Which I have to say totally blew my mind. I did not see that coming at all! (And really don’t think that I gave the story away with that! LOL – you get that just from the blurb 😉 There is a whole lot more to this installment!)

I loved the twists and turns this trilogy took me on. Every swipe of the page was unexpected and it kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The entire series is steeped in drama, suspense, banter, action, loyalty, family, romance and sexiness yet love and tenderness also sweep across the entire story-line. Put together it makes the most delicious story to sink your teeth into. One that you just want to read from cover to cover and never want to see end.

Oh and the characters! They have been so wonderful to get to know over these books!! As we see more and more into their lives over this trilogy. We see the love between Sin and Bleu blossom and grow. The relationship with Sin’s parents strengthen. The depravity with Sin’s uncle was just…well, read for yourself and see!! And all of their friends are so fascinating! I would LOVE to see more with Lorna & Leith and Jamie and Ellison (Hint, Hint, Hint 😉 )

I definitely recommend One Last Sin and the entire Sin Trilogy by Georgia Cates. You all will LOVE it!

I received a complimentary copy, in exchange for an honest review.

OLS Teaser 3

Bleu MacAllister is consumed. A horrific childhood incident has caused every decision in her life to revolve around bringing a monster to justice. With years spent studying The Fellowship, an organized crime brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers, Bleu will rely on her skills as a special agent to cut Thane Breckenridge off at the knees. But walking hand in hand with retribution means risking collateral damage, in the form of Breckenridge’s son Sinclair—until Sin becomes so much more than Bleu bargained for. She’s always known this undertaking would place her life in danger—she never imagined her heart would be as well.

An epic tale of revenge and love in a new romantic trilogy from the New York Times best-selling author of The Beauty Series.

Bleu MacAllister is in hiding less than three months when Sinclair Breckenridge discovers her whereabouts. Her former lover, the future leader of a criminal organization known as The Fellowship, resists the tug of his heart heartstrings in her direction. Instead, he opts to watch over his beloved from afar. And she has no idea. But Sin’s sacrifice is short-lived. His bonny lass is a hunted traitor. He fears Abram’s assassins are closing in, leaving him with one solution for saving Bleu–make her his wife. Marriage seems an easy fix for their dilemma but wedded bliss is brief when the couple finds trouble lying in wait beyond the realm of the brotherhood. Will the original revenge seeker find herself the object of collateral damage?

Georgia resides in rural Mississippi with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters. She spent fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse before she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author and hasn’t looked back yet.

When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing. When she’s being domestic, she’s listening to her iPod and visualizing scenes for her current work in progress. Every story coming from her always has a song to inspire it.
