Synopsis:
You know me.
Come on, you know you do.
Maybe you pretend you don’t. Maybe you clear your browser history religiously. Maybe you pretend to be aghast whenever someone even mentions the word porn in your presence.
But the truth is that you do know me.
Everybody knows Logan O’Toole, world famous porn star.
Except then Devi Dare pops into my world, and pretty soon I’m doing things that aren’t like me—like texting her with flirty banter and creating an entire web porn series just so I can get to star in her bed. Again. And again.
With Devi, my entire universe shifts, and the more time I spend with her, the more I realize that Logan O’Toole isn’t the guy I thought he was.
So maybe I’m not the guy you thought I was either.

Jill’s Review
So you kinda have to figure if you are getting a book by Laurelin Paige & Sierra Simone it is going to be fun & HOT! Right? And oh my did they deliver with Porn Star!
So right from the blurb I was intrigued. I mean here is Logan O’Toole talking to me. If the book was written like this.. oh yeah! Now if you are expecting just a trashy taboo book… you are looking in the wrong place. Does Porn Star deal with well – stars of porn? You bet! Do we get to see all aspects of the porn industry? Yes we do! Is the sex hot, dirty and erotic? Well, of course! But that is just the surface.
Do we see porn stars, yes but we get to see them as they walk through the everydayness of their lives. We get to delve into the minds and characters of Logan and Devi the people NOT just Logan and Devi the porn stars. And yes they are different (it just may take Logan a tad longer to realize that!) Think about it this way, are you exactly the same in your professional life as you are in your personal? I know I’m not. Not that that makes us fake, it is just makes us multi-dimensional – we don’t always pull back all the layers until we are in our personal lives with people we trust. And why should it be any different for people who fuck for a living? It is a true profession and they treat it as such. I loved how we got to see the growth of both characters throughout the story. As they made decisions for themselves and what is best for them. I also adored watching them open up to each other and discover each other. Sometimes this is overlooked in books, and Laurelin and Sierra did an excellent job letting us in on the entire courtship. It was filled with romance, witty banter, some hurt and angst and ultimately love.
The Porn Industry. Porn Star gives us an inside look into the porn industry. We see Logan and Devi as they are filming, directing, editing, on set and it is an all access pass. The highs and lows are discussed. Issues that are affecting the industry – feminism, abuse etc are discussed and dealt with. It was an absolutely fascinating look.
And the sex. Yes it was hot, Hot, HOT! But as Logan and Devi get together it is not only hot but beautiful to watch (well it is a porn book) as you see their intimacy develop.
I definitely recommend Porn Star. It was a fun, quick, steamy, witty read. And I have to confess… while I was sitting there dreaming about Logan (what dreaming of being with a porn star? I never saw it coming either!) I had a regret from when I was younger. I remember being on the phone with some guy (I was in my mid-twenties) and we were playing that get to know you game. The conversation was going so great, we were totally clicking and then…. Yeah, he dropped in the conversation all nonchalantly “I do porn.” And I was so taken aback. I had no clue what to do… and it scared me off. Now I can’t help but think – did I miss out on MY Logan? *sigh* Make sure you don’t miss Logan and at least read this book!
I received a complimentary copy of Porn Star in exchange for my honest review.

About the Authors:
NY Times & USA Today Bestselling author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender.
