REVIEW

Jill’s Review

I absolutely adore Jennifer Probst’s Searching For series so when I saw that 1001 Dark Nights was releasing Searching for Mine I jumped on that!

Connor has decided after all these years he is ready to push for more in his life. So he is going to college. He is almost ready to graduate, but.. oh this one tough English class. It is kicking his a$$! The books, the professor, the whole package. It just has him spinning! No problem, he thinks. He’ll just turn on that charm he is famous for and talk up his professor, Ella Blake, so he can up his grade. Well you know it isn’t going to be that easy! Well aside from the fact that the chemistry between them is undeniable! He pushes Ella’s buttons and she is not going to be an easy mark! (Go Ella!) Plus she is having trouble at home with her 10 year old son.

This book was just absolutely charming, sweet, heartwarming and sexy! I loved both Connor and Ella’s characters. Even though it is a novella, Jennifer Probst built up the tension between them and didn’t have them come right together. She had them learn about each other and get to know each other so that they naturally came together and it just felt right. That when they came together Commor and Ella’s son already had a relationship and a respect for one another… it was just beautiful to see. And on a personal level as a child from a blended family – that is just magical!

I definitely recommend this book. It is a quick read but an amazing Contemporary Romance! It will warm your heart and Probst’s fabulous writing will keep you enthralled from start to finish!

I received a complimentary copy of Searching for Mine in exchange for an honest review.
