She’s been his for the stolen years. I called Dax. We spoke of Lainey and how he wants her to know she has options. He wants to win her fair and square. I didn’t have the heart to tell him fair and square loses every single time. The option that Lainey is exercising at the moment has my mouth watering and my dick rapt at attention. A stronger man–a man with more integrity would resist. I was stripped of everything, integrity included. I just want back what is rightfully mine.

So I will admit, much to my chagrin, I was a Rachel Robinson virgin heading into Time and Space. Holy! What I was missing out on! I was sucked into this riveting second-chance romance. Second-chance romances typically have some angst and heartbreak to them as there is a reason the couple was torn apart to begin with but boy does this one take the cake!
This book captivated me from the start when I was reading the heart-stirring sentiments from Cody as he waxed on about Laney. I felt his words – his love, deep down in my soul. And I wanted to see what would happen, how everything would shake out. And my heart was clutched tight, up in my throat for this couple throughout the book. You can see how important they are to each other, yet the past is keeping them apart. Cody was a navy SEAL, and he and Lainey were deeply in love when he left on his last tour. But what happened there tore the two apart (I know, I know I am being so vague! But really I want you to experience the book in its entirety, I don’t want to give morsels away!) But now Cody is back leaving Lainey reeling! She had moved on while he was gone and is now engaged to another SEAL, Dax.
Dun, dun, dun… Yeah here is that trigger for some of you. Oh No is this a love triangle? Is there cheating? So let’s just get this out of the way… Yes there is some love triangle here. I mean really the blurb kinda spells out that there will be an element of that in the book. When you start the book and see what happened you will understand how the ‘triangle’ comes to be. But probably like me you will be rooting for it to go one way… (PS keep in mind this is a book told in dual POV – Cody & Lainey.) But I would say no, there is not cheating. Everything that takes place in the book is above board.
So let’s talk about that between the sheets action for a second. Wooo… is there some hot and sexy scenes! And Cody can dirty talk (dontcha just love a dirty talking alpha!) Mmmmmmm… but between the sheets isn’t the only action that you get in Time and Space. As this is a book that involves Navy SEALS and Cody has opened up Ridge Contracting (don’t think buildings) you know you are bound to see some action in this book. And there are some twists and turns that will just jump at you. So pretty much you get a lot packed in here: love, action, suspense, chemistry, sexy scenes and suprises! It will keep you glued to the pages wanting to know what happens next and hoping that it works out the way you want.
I definitely recommend Time and Space. In fact as soon as I finished I may have gone and clicked Crazy Good & Set In Stone. Don’t mistake.. Time and Space is a COMPLETE STANDALONE – but characters that were in here were in previous books.. and Oh My, I NEED to know more about them! Because Rachel Robinson has most certainly found herself a new fan!!
