Meet Juhan’tr et Chentq (aka Juhan) and his twin sister, Chosi’le et Chentq (aka Chosi) from GENTLE CHAINS.

Juhan and Chosi can’t be summed up as characters without the other. Chosi is pale, with translucent moth wings–wings that are rare and fragile. Juhan is dark, with jewel toned dragonfly wings, which are much stronger.

The twins mirror each other, not in that they are reflections but different sides to the same coin. He is psychically strong but peaceful. She is weak but willing to fight. He wants to stay on Eleyi and in the trees and she would push every boundary.

Their slavery is an extension of that. She has a horrible owner and experience while his is almost easy by comparison.

It was done intentionally. To see what two opposites, pushed to their breaking point and bound together by blood and love, would do. It’s the very basic question that drives Gentle Chains, and I’m so fascinated to see how it all ends in Violent Freedom.
