Kelly’s Review
I’ve just spent the most glorious weekend falling in love with Brody Murphy all over again while rereading Room for You and Room for More in preparation of the release of Room for Just a Little Bit More. So before I go into how VERY much I loved this new novella, I’m just gonna revisit the awesomeness that is Brody Murphy.
God, I forgot how much I love that man!! Brody is VERY high up there on my book boyfriend list. He’s so sexy and sweet- always finding the most thoughtful ways to show Kacie and his Twinkies how much he loves and cares for them. He’s laid back and FUNNY- I love his ability to make light of any situation, especially with the sexy wiggle of his eyebrows. He’s confident and secure in his manhood- not at all ashamed to show everyone just how much he adores his girls. He’s fierce and protective- just the right amount of “alpha male” to makes sure everyone knows that Kacie is HIS. Seriously, the list goes on and on! Brody is PERFECT.
And even better, Kacie is totally deserving of this man. She’s not one of those chicks that you hate for getting the guy. She’s such a hard-working, strong, independent, loving, selfless woman. You can totally see why Brody loves her so much and that’s what makes this story so wonderful.
So now that I’ve swooned over Brody a *little* bit, let me tell you how much I loved Room for Just a Little Bit More. I loved that this wasn’t your typical wedding story. Not over the top, not drama-filled, or predictable…it was just perfect. I laughed, I cried, I sighed, I definitely swooned, I LOVED.
Beth Ehemann nailed it, giving Brody & Kacie’s story the perfect ending, tying up any loose ends and giving us a glimpse into what the future holds for all of the characters in the series. While I’m more than satisfied with how the story ended, I can’t help but want more. So I’m beyond excited to hear that we’ll be getting Viper’s story next!
If you’ve read the first two books, there’s no doubt in my mind that you will love this novella. And if you haven’t read them yet, I can’t recommend them enough. Beth Ehemann truly has a talent and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
I can’t share most of my favorite quotes because I don’t want to give too much away– so here’s a couple:
“Ready for bed, or ready for Brody?”
“Tomorrow I’m marrying the girl of my dreams. I take that back. I’m marrying the girl of everyone’s dreams. I’m just the lucky bastard that tricked her into picking him.”
