Lauren Blakely’s Night After Night was a fun quick read that also had a bit of a gritty story beneath it.
The spare panty warning on Night After Night certainly holds true! This was one hot and steamy book that had me seriously lamenting the lack of a bed partner – gotta get working on that!
From the moment that Julia and Clay laid eyes on each other the sparks were flying and the chemistry was electrifying. They both thought that this was a short term fling but neither could get enough of the unforgettable, off the charts sex or the deeper connection that seemed to grow between them. Yet though a future seemed to glisten between them, Julia ran from Clay with no explanation.
Can Clay and Julia move beyond their pasts? Will Julia disclose the secrets she is keeping hidden?
I really enjoyed Night After Night! Julia and Clay had unbelievable chemistry together. The story surrounding them was intriguing and left me wanting more. (Of course it ended on a cliffhanger, and I NEED to know what is going to happen!!!) But aside from that I wanted even more information about their lives outside of each other. Kind of like how Clay was grilling Julia to know her better! I look forward to the upcoming After This Night, so that I can learn more.
